WOW - what a night! Last evening was the 2nd annual "Live Life Awards" presented by Uptown Saint John in the fabulous 'White Room' on Prince William Street....if you haven't already heard the chatter around town, it was a phenomenal event! The theme was black, white and GLAM! With no detail left out - from the real-life mannequin models showcasing uptown fashions, to the room decor and food, it was simply amazing! All inspired by the vision of the talented Judith Mackin from PunchInside, kudos for creating a spectacular space and energy that felt so chic!
For us, "the icing on the cake" was our little store receiving the 'Best Retail Business of the Year' award - such an honour! We are sincerely humbled, especially given our two fellow nominees in the category, which we feel deserve just as much recognition.....
Kiera Fraser from Je Suis Prest Boutique (Brunswick Square) - Kiera is a young and vibrant entrepreneur who just opened her lovely clothing boutique two years ago! But, in such a short time, she's certainly made an impact in our city (winning the Young Entrepreneur Award in 2010!). Kiera is very much a part of the recent exciting fashion momentum in Uptown Saint John! Learn more about Je Suis Prest here!
Jenny Scott from Stylin' Mama, Baby & Tot (Market Square) - Jenny must be super-woman in disguise! Her maternity and baby boutique has such a following of mom's in our city! She has even expanded to a 2nd location in Fredericton. Oh, but it doesn't stop there....Jenny also owns the beautiful Element5 Spa in Market Square AND has a young family! Like Kiera, Jenny was also recognized with the Young Entrepreneur Award in 2009! Learn more about Stylin' Mama here!
